Things to Do

One of the local favorite annual festivals is the San Carlos Art & Wine Faire, which takes place in October. Over 250 artists, along with food and drink vendors, come together to celebrate the beautiful art culture around San Carlos. Live entertainment is provided on the three stages around the fair.

 

From June until August, Summer Movie Nights operates in Flanagan Field in Burton Park. Every other weekend, a movie is shown in the park on a large screen. Guests can bring picnic supplies or chairs to view the movie that begins at sunset.

 

During the holidays, Night of Holiday Lights is a wonderful event for people of all ages. Guests can enjoy carolers, arts and crafts, and activities for the children, all with a cup of hot cocoa. The festival hosts a holiday show, tons of light displays, and a snow machine.

 

For outdoor recreation, Burton Park offers scenic walking trails, a kids’ playground, a stage for shows, and sports utilities. Here people can experience the famous redwoods of the Bay area. There is also a fenced dog park so that pets can also get some exercise.
